SCOTTISH MUSIC LEGENDS TO ROCK PKD
IT’S BACK AND IT'S GOING TO BE BIGGER AND
BETTER THAN EVER
The 19th July 2014 sees the return of the 6th annual PKD Festival and, after the success of last year, will once again include the East Coast Bike Show. Each year has seen this event grow in size and stature and this year looks like being no different with the announcement that the PKD Festival will be headlined by Scots rockers…………..
The event in aid of Cash for Kids will like last year start off with the pushkart race in the morning, starting at 9am. The East Coast Bike Show will see the return of all the world's top manufacturers like Harley Davidson, Ducatti, Kawasaki, Yamaha and many more. The kid’s zone returns with even more inflateables and attractions than ever before, and all the community stalls and Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be back too.
Organisers Mark Bennett and Stuart Prentice have always set themselves the challenge of making each year bigger and better than the year before. After last year proving to be by far the most successful yet with nearly 6000 people through the gates this would seem to be a tough challenge for this year. But with the announcement of Big Country headlining and many other improvements up their sleeves they have promised this will be the biggest and best yet.
If you want to enter a pushkart in this year’s race there are still spaces available. Entry is FREE until 31st May but entrants are encouraged to try and raise sponsor money for Cash For Kids. Last year’s race was won by the Explorer Scouts. They are back this year to defend their title, can you beat them? Check out www.pkdfestival.com for more details
If you are a business and want to know more about sponsorship opportunities for the event then please contact email@example.com for more information.
This event is a fantastic family day out and with entry by donation on the gate (although this year there will be a VIP area available too with tickets available through Ticketmaster) it is a family day out that doesn't break the bank.
The event takes place in the grounds of Forth Dimensions and The Clubhouse in Dalgety Bay.
